Cristiana Pegoraro

Concert

Thursday, January 30 - 6:30pm
Italian Cultural Institute @INNOVIT
730 Sansome Street, San Francisco

In collaboration with The Italian Consulate General and The Italian Cultural Institute
Co-presented by Leonardo da Vinci Society

Cristiana Pegoraro presents her version of Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons in an original multimedia, innovative work, which combines an unpublished transcription for piano with the sonnets written by Vivaldi himself, which were the genesis of his opus.

To completely immerse ourselves in this world of sounds and images, and experience the atmospheres that inspired Vivaldi, internationally renowned photographer Mino La Franca created an original and fascinating video projection. The evocative landscapes of the regions of Italy will accompany this journey through time, nature and also ourselves.

A Vivaldi for our times, in a modern interpretation, demonstrating that baroque music is timeless, indeed, it has never been so alive and relevant…
